The series “What Is the Perception of Defence Industrial Partnerships with the EDTIB by Non-EU Countries?” aims to analyse how certain third countries perceive the European union (EU)’s defence industrial policies and the possible partnerships they may establish with the European Defence Technological and Industrial Base (EDTIB). The launch by the EU of the European Defence Industrial Strategy (EDIS) and the European Defence Industrial Programme (EDIP) is intended to strengthen trans-European military-industrial cooperation. The question, therefore, is how these initiatives are perceived by Europe’s main allies, particularly regarding cooperation with the EDTIB, in light of global supply chains vulnerabilities, evolving military requirements, and the search for sustainable, cutting-edge technological solutions.
