A European Drone by 2025? Views from Member States on EUROMALE

The series “A European Drone by 2025? The View on EUROMALE” examines the perspectives of Italy and Spain on the development of a European remotely piloted aircraft system (MALE RPAS). The series looks at how the two countries are aligning their national strategic priorities with the wider vision of creating a European cooperative UAV capability. A better understanding of each country’s role and approach provides valuable insights into the dynamics of European cooperation on a UAV programme, as the latter gathers pace.
