Olivier de France

Olivier de France is a Senior Research Fellow at The French Institute for International and Strategic Affairs. He is interested in the political and geopolitical shifts affecting Europe, and the history of the ideas that underlie them. He was Fontenay Scholar at Balliol College, Oxford and Corpus Christi Scholar at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Prior to joining Iris, he worked on Europe for EUISS and ECFR. Educated in the humanities at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon, he teaches political theory at Paris University and the geopolitics of Europe at the Sorbonne.
