Jeff Hawkins is an Associate Research Fellow at IRIS, Paris-based commentator and researcher.
Jeff Hawkins served some thirty years as an American diplomat, most recently as U.S. Ambassador to the Central African Republic and U.S. Consul General in Lagos, Nigeria. He has wide experience in Europe, Africa, and Asia. He currently teaches at Sciences Po and appears frequently in the French media.
Jeff Hawkins has a Masters in International Relations from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
